Job Description:
Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Identify and assess potential suppliers for solar project materials, ensuring they meet quality and reliability standards.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals and maintain cost-effectiveness.
Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements and project specifications.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, forecast future material needs, and coordinate timely procurement to prevent project delays.
Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure reliable supply chains.
Qualification
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry.
Analytical thinking with a focus on cost optimization.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
