Job Description:
Strictly implement company policies on safety, occupational health, and work environment.
Plan and control employees and contractors to strictly comply with safety regulations at work.
Inspect and supervise each work process step to ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee workers to perform their tasks safely.
4.Organize daily activities such as exercise sessions, Safety Talks, KYT (Kiken Yochi Training), and conduct alcohol level checks, blood pressure checks, and temperature screening every morning before work to raise safety awareness among workers.
Be responsible for inspecting, improving, and following up on corrective actions to ensure the workplace is clean, orderly, and that tools and equipment are in safe working condition.
Provide immediate and appropriate first aid or assistance to injured personnel in case of accidents.
Cooperate with the Safety Committee and recommend improvements for deficiencies, while promoting and supporting safety activities in the workplace.
Control and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers at all times during operations.
Assess safety risks for each type of work in assigned construction projects before project commencement (Procedure, Work Instruction, JSA, Method Statement).
Coordinate with Site Safety Leaders (professional level) to prepare and manage safety documentation.
Inspect tools, equipment, heavy machinery, and scaffolding to ensure safety before starting work, with regular daily and weekly inspections.
Attend meetings and coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and internal safety departments on safety measures to ensure unified practices across the project.
Participate in accident investigations to identify preventive and corrective measures to avoid recurrence.
Advise, warn, and correct any hazards that may endanger workers, and prepare corrective action reports for submission to the safety department.
Cooperate with the Safety Committee or relevant agencies and propose improvements to address deficiencies.
Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by supervisors or employers.
Qualification
Education: Minimum Vocational Certificate or equivalent; must have completed a certified Safety Officer Training Course and hold valid certification/registration in accordance with legal requirements.
Age: 18 years and above.
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Understanding of work regulations and safety laws applicable to construction work.
Proficiency in preparing project safety documents.
Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office programs.
Own a personal computer/laptop and necessary work tools.
Highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to work under pressure.
Positive working attitude and strong communication skills with the ability to handle pressure effectively.
Own a vehicle and have the flexibility to travel to assigned project sites.
