Job Description:
Oversee all civil works on-site, including land grading, foundation installation, and structural construction for solar panels, inverter stations, and substations.
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.
Ensure proper implementation of geotechnical recommendations for site preparation and soil compaction.
Supervise the installation of mounting structures, cable trenches, and other site infrastructure.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational issues.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering designs, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct inspections and tests of civil works to verify structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
Support project handover by ensuring proper documentation and as-built drawings.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in civil engineering for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in solar EPC projects.
Proven experience in managing site-based civil construction activities.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods specific to solar energy projects.
Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project).
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
Willing to travel and work on-site at construction projects in other provinces.
