Job Description:
Oversee the installation of electrical components, including photovoltaic (PV) modules, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
Assist in planning and scheduling electrical installation activities to meet project deadlines.
Work with contractors and vendors to resolve technical and operational challenges.
Conduct inspections to ensure electrical works adhere to approved designs, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Verify that all installations comply with local electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
Maintain quality assurance documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and punch lists.
Prepare as-built electrical drawings and documentation for project handover.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in solar EPC projects.
Proven experience in managing site-based electrical construction and commissioning activities.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, especially those related to solar PV systems, inverters, and substations.
Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PVsyst).
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
Willing to travel and work on-site at construction projects in other provinces.
