Solar cells contribute to mitigating global warming in several ways

  1. Reducing energy consumption from greenhouse gas-emitting sources:

Solar cells decrease the demand for energy derived from fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal, which are major contributors to global warming.

  2. Lowering greenhouse gas emissions:

By using solar cells as a clean energy source, there is a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional energy sources that produce pollutants.

  3. Promoting sustainable consumption:

Solar cells encourage the use of clean energy that does not involve harmful chemicals or pollutants during the production process.

These aspects demonstrate how solar cells help address global warming by reducing reliance on fossil fuels, cutting emissions, and promoting environmentally sustainable practices.
