Job Description
Engineering readiness: survey the site, check site constraints and prepare data for mobilization and scaffolding requirements; check approved drawings, specifications, TOR/BOQ and the latest revisions before work starts, preventing use of unapproved or old revisions; check material approvals and technical requirements before PRs; prepare and submit ISO, WI, JSA and engineering documents before mobilization; and coordinate so technical data and approved documents are ready before work starts.
Planning and materials: prepare and update the working plan / 3-week look-ahead plan with progress, constraints, impact and corrective actions; plan weekly material withdrawals in line with the working plan and make sure critical materials are ready; raise PRs for mobilization materials, safety equipment and signage with lead time and material-on-site in mind; track activity readiness and constraints with owners and due dates; and escalate risks to critical milestones to the PM/SPM.
Quality and safety readiness: inspect work with subcontractors and complete internal inspections before RFI; submit RFIs per the construction plan and follow up comments/rejects until resolved; prepare and control F-CON 005 / ITP and F-CON 006 before each activity or inspection; prepare and submit WI/JSA, brief work methods and check construction and safety readiness before new activities; and plan weekly big cleaning and housekeeping with the SE and subcontractors.
Technical coordination and documents: hold follow-up meetings with the client, contractors and stakeholders, preparing progress, problems and plans and tracking action items; prepare and control F-CON 001 to 004 per ISO 9001:2015; support documents for Por Kor 2 (พค.2) and other permits with no critical missing items; coordinate technical and approval issues with internal teams, O&M and the client; and keep engineering reports and evidence traceable.
Handover and improvement: prepare and submit red-mark / as-built drawings, test & inspection reports and required records; prepare the spare parts list, final document list and O&M training; prepare F-CON 007 / Taking Over and the emergency protocol; proactively flag design clashes and constructability issues to reduce rework; support recovery plans for critical problems; prepare progressive handover during construction; and lead technical discussions for the assigned scope.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or another engineering field relevant to the project.
Experience in project engineering, construction, Solar EPC or engineering project coordination is a plus.
Able to read and check drawings, specifications, TOR/BOQ and technical documents, control document revisions against approved requirements, and understand internal inspection, ITP, RFI, test & inspection records, material approval, lead times, ISO 9001:2015 and WI/JSA requirements.
Detail-oriented and highly responsible, able to manage multiple activities under time, quality and safety constraints; able to prepare working / look-ahead plans and track readiness and constraints, analyze technical problems and propose solutions systematically, and own work through to completion, meet due dates and escalate key issues to the PM/SPM appropriately.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project/ERP/PPN systems, and quick to learn and apply new tools.
Able to work upcountry and be stationed at project sites in other provinces, adapting to site conditions as the project requires; communicates clearly and on time with internal teams, contractors, the client and other units;
