Job Description:
Prepare detailed design documents, engineering calculations, and construction drawings (Detail Design, Calculation, and Drawing) for solar power generation systems, including Solar Rooftop, Solar Farm, Solar Floating, Solar Carport, and related projects.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on design details, calculations, and construction drawings for approval by the project owner or relevant stakeholders.
Develop Detail Design, Calculation, and Drawing for BOQ preparation, define material specifications, and submit to the procurement team.
Prepare documentation required for permits and approvals by coordinating with both internal and external authorities.
Work with software such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), PVSyst, and design tools including AutoCAD, SketchUp, STAAD Pro, PVSyst, or other related programs.
Demonstrate leadership skills and a positive attitude when working under pressure.
Perform Detail Design, Calculation, and Drawing in compliance with engineering standards, legal requirements, and regulations, including verification based on engineering principles (roof structure, mounting structure, inverter structure, electrical structure, AC/DC cable routing, tie-in position, communication cable systems, grounding systems, shutdown systems, transformer installation, etc.).
Conduct on-site inspections of installation methods, cable connection and routing, painting, and construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and site boundaries.
In case of on-site construction issues arising from technical matters, installation methods, or site conditions, resolve problems based on engineering principles so that work can continue within the defined site scope.
Prepare weekly inspection reports on site installation progress, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
Provide information and technical support to site teams during project handover to clients and respond to client inquiries based on engineering principles.
Qualification
Age 25–30 years or above.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical Engineering or related fields).
At least 1–2 years of experience in design work.
Experience in electrical systems related to solar projects (Solar Rooftop, Solar Farm, Solar Floating, Solar Carport, etc.) will be given special consideration.
Professional engineering license from the Council of Engineers (PE License)
Good command of English (speaking, writing, and reading) for work-related communication.
New graduates with GPA 3.0 or above are welcome; experience with PVSyst software will be an advantage.
Able to drive a car and hold a valid driving license.
