Job Description:

The Senior HR Officer (OD) is responsible for developing and implementing organizational development initiatives to align with the company’s strategic goals. This includes designing performance management systems, employee engagement programs, succession planning, and change management strategies to support the growth of the solar business.


Organizational Development:

  • Develop and execute OD strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee performance.

  • Assess organizational needs and design appropriate interventions, such as training programs, team-building activities, and leadership development.

  • Lead and coordinate change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes or new processes.


Performance Management:

  • Implement and manage the performance appraisal system, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on performance management tools and techniques.

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.


Employee Engagement:

  • Design and execute employee engagement surveys to measure workplace satisfaction and engagement levels.

  • Develop action plans based on survey results to address employee concerns and enhance organizational culture.

  • Promote a positive work environment by implementing recognition programs and employee well-being initiatives.


Succession Planning & Talent Development:

  • Identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to prepare them for leadership roles.

  • Collaborate with department heads to design succession plans for critical roles.

  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and coordinate training programs to upskill employees.


Policy Development & Compliance:

  • Review and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies in all OD activities.


Collaboration:

  • Partner with other HR functions, such as recruitment and compensation, to ensure alignment of HR strategies.

  • Work closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in organizational development, with a focus on performance management, employee engagement, or change management.

  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is a strong advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in HR software and tools related to performance and employee management.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of OD theories and practices, including change management frameworks.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Improvement in employee engagement scores.

  • Percentage of employees with completed performance appraisals.

  • Retention rate of high-potential employees.

  • Number of leadership development programs executed.

  • Success rate of implemented change management initiatives.
