Job Description:
Develop Strategic Sales Plans Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for I&C solutions in the solar engineering sector.
Identify Market Opportunities Analyze target markets, customer segments, and industry trends to uncover new business opportunities.
Drive Client Engagement Build strong, long-term relationships with EPC contractors, developers, and plant operators to understand and fulfill their technical needs.
Present Tailored Solutions Promote and present I&C offerings—such as SCADA and PLC systems—focusing on performance monitoring, control, and automation benefits.
Negotiate and Close Deals Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and manage the end-to-end sales process to ensure client satisfaction and deal closure.
Provide Technical Sales Support Work closely with engineering teams to align solutions with customer requirements and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Monitor Market Intelligence Conduct market research and competitor analysis, gather client feedback, and generate performance reports to inform strategy and innovation.
Collaborate Across Teams Coordinate with engineering, project management, and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery, while mentoring junior sales staff.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred: Background in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in technical sales, ideally in solar energy, renewable energy, or I&C-related industries.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding B2B sales targets.
Strong technical knowledge of I&C systems such as SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, sensors, and control systems used in solar applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical thinking and strategic sales planning ability.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as needed.
