Job Description:

  • Develop Strategic Sales Plans Create and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for I&C solutions in the solar engineering sector. 


  • Identify Market Opportunities Analyze target markets, customer segments, and industry trends to uncover new business opportunities. 


  • Drive Client Engagement Build strong, long-term relationships with EPC contractors, developers, and plant operators to understand and fulfill their technical needs. 


  • Present Tailored Solutions Promote and present I&C offerings—such as SCADA and PLC systems—focusing on performance monitoring, control, and automation benefits. 


  • Negotiate and Close Deals Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and manage the end-to-end sales process to ensure client satisfaction and deal closure. 


  •  Provide Technical Sales Support Work closely with engineering teams to align solutions with customer requirements and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations. 


  • Monitor Market Intelligence Conduct market research and competitor analysis, gather client feedback, and generate performance reports to inform strategy and innovation. 


  • Collaborate Across Teams Coordinate with engineering, project management, and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery, while mentoring junior sales staff. 

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 


  • Preferred: Background in Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering. 


  • 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, ideally in solar energy, renewable energy, or I&C-related industries. 


  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding B2B sales targets. 


  • Strong technical knowledge of I&C systems such as SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, sensors, and control systems used in solar applications. 


  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 


  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. 


  • Strong analytical thinking and strategic sales planning ability. 


  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as needed.
