Job Description:
Design, develop, and maintain intelligent solar monitoring applications that integrate with SCADA, inverters, IoT devices, and sensors.
Build AI-powered algorithms for energy performance analysis, fault detection, and predictive maintenance.
Develop and manage front-end dashboards and back-end systems for real-time monitoring, reporting, and alert notifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, O&M) to understand user needs and translate them into digital tools.
Integrate external APIs and protocols (e.g., Modbus, MQTT, RESTful) to collect and process solar plant data.
Optimize system performance, data security, and user experience across web and mobile platforms.
Conduct testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of software tools.
Document system architecture, user guides, and technical standards for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up to date with AI and machine learning applications in the energy sector and recommend new features or technologies.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in energy, IoT, or AI-related projects.
Strong programming skills in Python (with AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch), JavaScript (Node.js, Vue/React), or similar.
Experience in AI model development for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, or time series forecasting.
Familiarity with energy data systems (e.g., SCADA, solar inverters, EMS/BMS) is a strong advantage.
Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API integration.
Understanding of solar PV system operation and energy data flows is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
